Harry Jerome Indoor Games record turn out after Covid come back

Kajaks Athletes, Coaches, and Volunteers rocked the Richmond Olympic Oval for the 2023 Harry Jerome Indoor Games on Saturday February 4th!

300+ athletes, their coaches and families were able to focus on their individual performances because of the work that you, the Kajaks Volunteers did. Which is really what it’s all about.

As the first meet of the 2023 season it was great to see our athletes, coaches and new relay teams hit the track. Results: https://www.harryjerome.com/post/results-2023-jerome-indoor-games

Kajaks Family Volunteers and BC Athletics Officials ensured the events ran on time, hurdles got set (and reset), lunch got served and all the work of hosting a track & field meet was done.

Those of you who were new to this event and in new volunteer roles – special thanks to you for being willing to learn something new.

An enormous thanks goes to our facilities & equipment lead Fred Pawluk – for ensuring that we got it right on the track, and on the field.
